Breakfast at a B&B is as varied as the B&B's themselves. Here is how we do breakfast at Prescott Pines Inn.
Since we consider breakfast to be a highlight of your stay (Hello!...Bed and BREAKFAST), we start by finding out if any of our guests have food allergies or other dietary restrictions and do our best (within reason) to accommodate. Once that is determined, we plan a delicious homemade breakfast that will delight the senses. Ours is a two course, plated affair, so all you have to do is arrive, sit down, and prepare to be pampered and served. Two varieties of juices are at your table and we have unlimited coffee, tea & hot chocolate all available upon your request. If you are into cold beverages at breakfast, our beverage cooler is stocked and awaiting your selection as well. We take great pride in preparing a delicious, memorable breakfast for each guest.
What time is breakfast? Times vary depending upon the number of guests. Typically during the week we try to provide a reasonable hour such as 8:00 – 9:00 A.M. On weekends when we have more guests, we generally extend the time an hour (8:00-10:00 A.M.). You have the opportunity to arrive for breakfast based upon your own schedule. On busy weekends, if you are with a group, we may schedule your seat time and reserve your place setting, so it is important that you arrive on time at your selected seating for the comfort of all guests. You may opt out of breakfast if you so desire, however, please contact us via text or phone prior to breakfast so that we don't prepare for you.
Will you have to sit with other guests? At our inn, yes, most likely. Many find that meeting other travelers is an enhancing feature of B&B's. Our ambiance is warm & welcoming and lends itself to conversing with people you don't know. It is not uncommon to have guests sitting and talking long after they have finished eating, often sharing contact information with one another before leaving. We have a saying on our wall, "May all who enter as guests, leave as friends" and this goes for guests as well as for us, the innkeepers. So with this in mind, if you have a strictly "loner" personality, and we have the space, we will strive to create a private seating opportunity for you. However, we encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and mingle as these and other social opportunities can truly enhance your stay.
